ULTRA KRAS

Ultra Kras is a sports event, which took place for the first time in 2024, when the Slovak Ultra Trail League expanded to this beautiful part of Slovakia - Slovak Karst. The race, which 3rd edition will take place on 25th of April 2026 is being organized by o.z. Cassovia Trail Runners

The mountain ultramarathon with total distance of 57 kilometers and total elevation gain of 2400 meters has its start and finish in the village Turňa nad Bodvou (parking lot next to the Hviezda cinema) and the course is situated in the Slovak Karst National park. There will be four aid station (Háj, Drienovecké kúpele, Hačava and Zádielská chata), on top of these the participants have to take photo on another three places (selfie checkpoints). The time limit for completing the 57 km course is 12 hours, there is one more cut off time in Hačava on the 29. km (7,5 hours after the start). 

Ultra Kras 2026 is a part of the 12th edition of Slovak Ultratrail League. The course of the Ultra Kras race has been certified by ITRA (3 points) and is a part of the ITRA National League.
