Rusínska 100 a 66

Rusínska 100 and 66 is a ultratrail race and long-distance march in norteastern part of Slovakia. The event with two ultra courses and with the start and finish in the town of Stropkov is being organized by the runners from the Klub bežcov Stropkov club.

The longer distance is the Rusínska 100 Its more than one hundred kilometer long route leads through the Ondavská vrchovina in Zemplín County and continues to the neighboring Šariš County via the town of Svidník located in the northern part of the Nízke Beskydy mountains. 

The route passes through the region of Ruthenian villages and along the border with Poland. The R100 route partly passes through the protected area of ​​the Východné Karpaty. In 2023, the Rusínska 100 will be held on 26.-27. August. The event will allow many participants of the Slovak Ultratrail League to get to know new places in Slovakia, as well as the cordiality and hospitality of the organizers of the event from the Klub bežcov Stropkov. The parameters of the Rusínská 100 route will be confirmed later.

Part of event is also a shorter ultra route called Rusínska 66. Its start and finish are located in the town of Stropkov. In 2023, Rusínska 66 will be held on Saturday, August 26. Along with the hundred, the route will take you to a region interesting for its nature, historical buildings and wooden churches, monuments and memorials from WWI and WWII, as well as places of pilgrimage. The parameters of the Rusínská 66 route will be confirmed later.

Rusínska 100 and Rusínska 66 are part of the 9th edition of Slovak Ultratrail League. Both courses are certified by ITRA (4 points and 3 points), both are part of the ITRA National League as well as the list of races with UTMB Index.
